My Journey!

My journey with health and wellness didn’t start from a place of balance—it started from struggle. I once weighed nearly 460 pounds, and through dedication, support, and a lot of hard days, I lost almost 300 pounds. What I’ve learned is that this isn’t something you “finish.” It’s something you choose every day. Some days are easier than others, but because I’ve made it a lifestyle instead of a quick fix, it’s stayed with me for over 10 years.

Along the way, I discovered a passion for helping others feel strong in their own bodies. I’m certified in Les Mills BodyPump and BodyBalance, hold an advanced yoga certification, and I’m currently working toward my 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. I teach private and group sessions, host unique experiences like alpaca yoga, and I’m planning my second yoga retreat.

Life has also brought deep loss. I lost my mom over a decade ago and my sister last year. Those experiences changed me and strengthened my belief in creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and seen.

Outside of wellness, I’ve worked in medical insurance and administration for nearly 20 years and hold associate degrees in both medical administration and business administration. I’m CPR certified and currently working toward massage therapy certification, with plans to expand into self-defense training.
At the core of everything I do is this belief: no matter what you’ve been through, you can rebuild. You can grow. And you can create a life that feels strong, grounded, and meaningful.
